Aurubis employees run laps for charity To Walk Again

On Saturday May 17, three Aurubis teams put their best foot forward during the relay race ‘Run To Walk Again’ in Herentals. The proceeds of this charity event will go entirely to To Walk Again, an organisation that is supported by Aurubis based on shared values ​​such as inclusion, perseverance, sustainability and progress.

In 2023, Aurubis engaged itself to a structural partnership with To Walk Again. This non-profit organisation is committed to reactivate people with a serious physical disability. In addition to structural support, Aurubis is also involved in the activities organised by To Walk Again. Many employees have committed themselves to participate at ‘Run To Walk Again’. In this relay race, they passed the baton to the next colleague after a three kilometre lap, for exactly 10 hours.

Aurubis likes to take responsibility. This is expressed in care for our colleagues, the environment and the community. With the strategy “together we care” we want to contribute through social engagement. As a locally strongly anchored company, we found a good match with the Kempen based charity To Walk Again. Our metals ensure progress in society while To Walk Again ensures progress for people with a physical disability so that they can fully participate in society again.
